She was born Jun 4, 1858 in KY, died of pneumonia Jan. 4, 1910 in Swifton, AR. Buried at Walnut Grove Cemetery next to her son, Stephen Walter Ray.

3. Harvey Waymond Ray (Wray), b) Dec. 17, 1887, Cario, IL dod July 5, 1956 in Tupelo, AR. He was shot by is brother-in-law. Buried at Sand Hill Cemetery, Auvergne, AR

4. Bessie Gertrude Ray, b) Feb. 7, 1890, Oakton, Ky, d) 2-14-68 in Newark, AR. Bessie was murdered 14 Feb. 1968 by Gus Layfate Campbell her second husband who was b) 30 Sept. 1879 before he tuned the gun on his own cowardly ass.

I would love to see photos of my GGrandmother but when our family asked for her personal effects, they were told by Gus Campbell of Arkansas' family "No because technically they belong to us since she died first"! Guess the crab apples don't fall far from that twisted tree. She is buried in Pangburn. Arkansas. She married James Elmer Richardson on April 4, 1909. The last record on this family is the 1920 Federal Census when they were living in Brackenridge, Jackson Co., AR. Listed on the census is: Jim Richardson age 29 yrs., wife-Bessie 29 yrs, son- (David) Elmer 8 yrs and Ruby age 2 yrs. I haven't found any thing on the 1930 census. The spelling for the last name is changed to Richeson, I don't know when or why this was done. Family letters referr to the death of Bessie and Gus Campbell, unfortunately they failed to put a date on the letter.

5. Hooper Allen Ray, b) Mar 11, 1892 in TN., dod Sept. 21, 1933 in Jonesboro, AR. Unknown where is buried.

6. Nora Margaret Ray, b) Nov. 1894 in Jackson, Mississippi, dod Mar. 1, 1988 in Powhatan, AR., buried at Arnold Cemetery, Swifton, AR.

7. Robert Basil Ray, b) Aug. 24, 1896 in Hardy, AR., dod April 11, 1960 in Elkhart, Indiana
